The same characteristics that make AQUA Carpatica so good for the daily consumption make it also vulnerable to external factors: the mineral content, the bottle that protects its content lacking the microbiological flora and its physical qualities. Moreover, there are specific contexts in which the water qualities are different.
In order to minimize the external factors effects on its qualities and in order to achieve the best results, AQUA Carpatica offers you some advice for the optimum keeping and use of bottled water, whether it is still or sparkling water:
1. Bottled water must not be boiled
Many mothers boil the water for babies before preparing their milk bottle. In the case of still water, it is not necessary because the water is already filtered and microbiologically pure. By boiling it, the water calcium is precipitated and remains on the walls of the bottle and consequently the babies can no longer benefit from a balanced water with respect to the mineral content.
2. Frost-protected water
In case mineral water freezes (either still or sparkling), the mineral chain alters and causes the precipitation of calcium. With respect to its qualities, it is still good for drinking but it becomes blurry and unaesthetic.
3. Water must not be stored in the sun
The plastic packages are stored at temperatures below 25 degrees and unsealed water, even if it is in a glass, must not be kept in a hot place or in the sun because, in contact with the external environment, it loses its characteristics and can develop microbiologic flora
4. For children below 3 years, the consumption of sparkling water is not recommended.
Children below three years old have a sensitive body and their digestive system is not completely formed. The mineral concentration in the sparkling water is much higher and can be above the limits allowed for their possibility to process them.
5. Water must not be drunk from the bottle
Unless you are in the street or in a place without glasses, the consumption of water directly from the bottle contaminates the mouth of the bottle with our own oral cavity microbiologic flora and may cause an unpleasant smell in a few hours. That is why you often think that the water gets a disturbing smell or taste.
6. In case you make a sustained effort, do not drink water with artificial CO2.
During the effort our body losses water but also several mineral salts. The most rapid method to restore them is by the consumption of mineral water.
