For those who choose another way to relax in summer than the seaside or the pool, we made a list of what it may be necessary to have as complete kit when going for a picnic.
Basket: Choose a deep basket, if possible made of osier or plastic but allowing the foods to breathe and not to condense if warmer.
Content: The picnic is a reason for joy and relaxation, so it’s better to look as merry as possible. Take colourful and environmentally-friendly plates, cutlery, mugs and glasses that can be reused and washed instead of using disposable products. Even more, we suggest you an idea of recycling the sparkling AQUA pets as plastic glasses replacement.
Casseroles: Whether to be kept warm or cold, choose tight casseroles or jars suitable for your planned picnic.
Thermos: The thermos keeps the coffee hot or the lemonade cold. If you add ice cubes, make sure they are from still water in order not alter the taste with tap water.
Various: Small and tiny, these are the things we really need at any meal: a sharp knife protected with a towel or special support, matches, beer or tin opener, salt and pepper casters and paper napkins for any emergencies or other unforeseen events. If you want to save space, instead of casters you can fill two thicker straws and make them water-tight at its ends.
Protection equipment: Do not forget to include a UV protection lotion, sunhats and a blouse if the weather is capricious or you stay there until evening. It is preferable to have an insect repellent and a small first-aid kit.
Fun: Take with you the fun elements: balls, kites, Frisbee, chess /tables, cards and other games involving the whole family or group of friends.
Cleaning: No need to mention that your picnic should not leave any trace. We are confident that you respect nature and everything it gives you. For you some wet wipes be enough.
At the end of our picnic do not forget to leave everything clean and to dispose the waste in designated areas.
We wish you to enjoy and the company of your dear ones!
